You conveniently overlook that the great mass of Greens voters prefer Labor over the Coalition. In other words the voters are moving even more to the left than Labor which is still not good news for the coalition. According to todays Newspoll its 50/50. They are the facts. Another fact is that Julia Gillard has a clear lead in the Newspoll over Tony Abbott who slipped three points.
