All the positive reinforcement we are getting from DR M now is about courting much needed foreign investment and the strategic importance of our product. We still have a major battle over the PDF site. The PDF is an SMSL medium term strategy to staying relevant. You can bet your bottom dollar they are going to protest any plan and chosen site, try to delay the completion of that condition.

Also very very tired of having this battle every time the future starts to look good. Remember we were broaching the $3.00 sp mark when the last review was called, and again, when the review found no infractuons, and still Sour Cow YBY /Dr M imposed artificial conditions. Remember, "Lynas maybe be sold to interested parties..." and now this current 6 month extension and additional toxic levy crap.

Yes. it will cost a lot to get the hell out. We should do it while prices and revenue will finance the move. SMSL can take a running jump into Balok River. We have had enough. While we can deal with the constant whining in the press and they still pose a viable threat. These people are ignorant and intent in staying so. There is no hope for them. Lynas being in Malaysia is akin to the old Malay saying,"Bagi Kera dapatkan Bunga". "Like giving a flower to a Monkey". Ironically, the Monkey in this case is mostly the Chinese people rather than the Malays.

The only thing that Dr M can do to remedy the situation properly for all the damage done by the Greenie Watermelons and convince us to stay, is to completely destroy the political futures of Sour Cow YBY, Wong Twit, Fuzzy and all the DAP idiots who have been parading on the news about how hard they fought and how they will continue to undermine him.

Anyway, ship it out! If we are talking $50M for a PDF, shipping out may be a financially viable option, and we have 4 years to do it. Keep in mind - no matter what, WLP will have to be packed and trucked from LAMP.

Playing with the idea:

i) Give or take 1,000,000t of WLP to be moved by ~mid 2023. Once some form of bagging system has been set up, you can probably fill >140t/h (quick browse finds 'mobile' bagging units with this capacity). Running ~5hrs/day takes care of it (340days/y). Main cost is staff (spitballing, 20 ppl, $300k total cost/year, feeling generous).

ii) A 40ft container will be limited by payload capacity, ~28t. This means we'll have to fill 35,700 containers.. or 20 containers/day (340 days/y). Average Joe like me would pay (online quotes Singapore-Ho Chi Minh, closest I could get..) $400/full 40ft container. So yearly cost $2.7M (more likely half of this - shorter distance and bulk discounts). Note: biggest ships can take 18,000 containers.. wow

We are just a few km from the port, so trucking shouldn't be a major thing either, but perhaps add another 20 ppl and $300k/year.

Alllll this wayyyy cheaper than I thought.. heck, double or triple my numbers and we've still left most of the AELB bond untouched. Please AL, work your magic
