Political Utopias

IMO, political posters on these threads should read the two great Utopian political works of
all times:
-Plato's Republic & Sir Thomas Moore's Utopia.

While they are dated in many respects by todays standards, they, nevertheless,
clearly express the political thought of their respective times.

Perhaps in a few hundred years our notions of the ideal society will be much dated too?

Ooops I almost forgot: Populists resent anything that whiffs of academia!
