Moderators are interested in stocks. That's why they joined the Forum. Sure, I posted for the first time in Politics in the lead up to the election.
A post in this thread mentioned that "The Politics Forum, however,is important to us in that it helps alert us to changes that will impact on our investments, such as the MRRT, taxation , and (shock) possible foreign control of the ASX....."
It's a pity this is not how the Politics Forum is being used.
I'm not interested in spending my time poring over some of the bigoted or racist (pick a race and attack it) or petty point scoring that goes on in the Politics Forum.
I've now reached the point where I've seen a TOU, looked at the TOUd post, saw what it was in reply to and said ,"Enough is enough....." and deleted and locked the entire thread.
My interest is in equities - at this point in time primarily gold and resources/resource stocks. I certainly didn't offer my time up as a Moderator on HotCopper to waste it spending hours reading and moderating a lot of the globberish that masquerades as Politics Forum posts.
And I'm pretty sure a lot of Moderators feel the same way.
