As a general response to this thread I'd like to say:

There's an unhealthy focus on posters and what they say is used as to make posted moral judgments on them instead of simply putting forward reasoning or counter argument why one believes otherwise.

When Abbott was under siege last week and before we had a poll that said the Libs would win an election, we did not have folk complaining so bitterly.

If a post is offensive/inaccurate or a thread header for that matter then exercise your right to lodge a complaint and the mods will delete the offence should they deem it so.

Finally there are many Australians who hold to views that are of the 'rabid right' or the 'loony left' and those who simply lean to either side. If someone is found to hold far to extreme views then perhaps the option of 'ignore' is of use.

So some here can't handle opposing views and peoples expression of that - ie: resorting to blaming the forums existence when there are other avenues to pursue? Are they the same people that won't show up to threads and discuss major topics like a back flip on carbon tax for instance. Fair weather sailors on the political front and only motivated by rage at what they see as other posters insensitivity or poor spelling?
