The reason why America is rich is because of both the billionaires and the workforce they need. Basically for billionaires to be able to make their money and thus for America to stay rich is to make sure the rest of the populace is happy "enough". This is why billionaires go through their political marketing and so on to be seen as better without actually having to go through the pain of giving away their wealth. Imagine a billionaire who is talking about how rich should be taxed, etc welfare, etc but how many of them would actually give a majority proportion of their wealth and other resources to the "poor"? None. Even the Obama family, for example, would he ever give away most if not all of his wealth to the "poor" people he care so much? No. So what are they actually doing? Inflating their worth socially and thus financially by manipulating people who lack intellect to see otherwise. Action and results should define things not mere words. For relatively intellectually challenged people, words are enough because they do not have the capacity to know or understand better. They simply do not have enough cognitive load to do so.

Is it fair for people to be rich through exploiting the flaws of others? Yes. All businesses do it without exception. It is up to people to be better and make it harder for people to manipulate them. It is already happening, which is why services just get better and better. Just the natural law at work.
