retirement of managing director

Sydney Gas announces that Dr Philip Moore has decided to stand down as Managing Director on medical advice effective of 1 June 2007. He will be on leave from 14 May 2007.
The Board has appointed Dr John Saunders as Executive Chairman and Mr Anthony Sennitt as Executive Director of Sydney Gas and its subsidiaries effective of 7 May 2007. Dr Saunders said, “The event was unexpected, but Dr Moore is leaving the Company in a significantly improved condition after leading major changes in its business model. He has also put in place an effective technical and operational management team who will carry on the good work.”
Dr Saunders also said he was pleased Anthony Sennitt was able to take up executive duties covering technical and operational matters. Mr Sennitt is an experienced energy and utilities director with over 19 years production and marketing experience in global oil,
gas, chemical and electricity industries.
