Totally agree, Verminski. Work in a company, where you rack up huge debt, and your expenses don't exceed cash-flow, and you get a pay rise based on performance..............I don't think so.
In any year following a deficit year, every politician should be paid the basic wage, and that's all sides of government. This would get them working together, rather than being adversarial. Pay them more in the good years but get rid of the crap we have now.
regarding the 'people of calibre' we are attracting.........definitely no 'guns' amongst them. Not enough 'calibre' to knock over a grasshopper.
