LWNJ stuff, Frecklington ran a gender strategy in the marginal seats and it lost without exception bar two seats 1) Whitsundays where the LNP disendorsed a male in respect of an ex Katter candidate and 2) Currumbin, which the LNP held anyway.

The gender strategy of Frecklington’s lost any possible chance they had of winning.

The electorate clearly shunned gender and preferenced Merit.

The campaign attacks on Steven Miles, a male, while going soft on Palaszscuk was clearly flawed in hindsight.

Even Frecklington’s concession speech where she made a reference to the get Miles campaign, lost support.

The LNP will now likely never win in Queensland with the LNP brand, that is how tarnished it became under Frecklington.
