Oh I do see a couple of poll giving LNP a better result though the first 2 polls after the budget didn't show much change and note labor is still leading. So I would not celebrating just yet if I where you.
Remember when Rudd took over from Gillard? Labor went from 46% to 54% 2PP but it was short lived.
I expected a sugar hit from the budget, people love it when you through money at them but lets see how they react when they have a better idea of how the budget will impact them. I here a lot of lower paid workers will be losing out.
Unfortunately Shorten is Abbott best asset, it's the only reason Abbott leads as preferred PM
