I haven't got access to IncredibleCharts atm so I have used Bigcharts which gives me something weird.
7/4 Polo bought 929,000 volume on that day was 1,317,500
6/4 Polo bought 542,000 volume on that day was 1,349,900
2/4 Polo bought 751,697 volume on that day was 689,900 ????
1/4 Polo bought 542,000 volume on that day was 1,850,100
On the 2/4 how could Polo buy more than was traded all day, unless Bicharts is using USA dates.
Anyway, you can see that Polo is hugely contributing to the rise.
1/4 they had 31.5% of the volume, 6/4 it was 40.1% and 7/4 it was 70.5% of the volume !!!
So, if Mr.Dattels decided to take a rest today, or indeed if he has decided he has enough shares, that pulls the plug on a lot of buying activity.
It goes back to what I have always said. If you sweat the ASX share price you are going to sweat a lot. If you focus on what the value of the physical asset is in the real world then you know what your target is.
