Polo resources, owner of about 10% of EXT shares, has made a takeover offer for Caledon Resources. The offer is to provide 11.4 Polo shares for each Caledon share.
Rumours in the past have focused on Polo's possible exit from EXT on the grounds that Polo needed the cash. The takeover of Caledon using scrip only means that these rumours appear to be unfounded.
