They have been talking about this for some time, it wasn't something that just happened on the spur of the moment, it also takes time to install the machinery required to perform these new roles to make these new materials I would think? and perhaps some tinkering may be involved to get the product just right, all of which would be time consuming, no good offering a prospective customer a product that at this point doesn't exist in large quantities, what the customer would have seen are only prototypes I would think? not something that was mass produced yet but will be soon!
