And as FLIESH said - the 2 products are actually totally different.
Novosorb is stapled to a debrided wound / burnt area and provides a platform for the growth of new dermis inclusive of blood supply and keratinocytes etc.
Whilst this is happening the surgeons are culturing new skin from a small donor supply to provide enough for a large split skin graft to apply over the top of the BTM as a closure. This is where Avita may come into play in the future but really is not essential as it takes a few weeks for the scaffold to be ready for closure anyway.
I think Avitas role is more in the superficial but extensive burn market not in the deeper burn or traumatic wound market. Might be wrong tho.
