Yes, Pond 3 is the 'monster' of all Mardie's ponds, now even more so.
The original Mardie Pond sizes of the first 3 were supposed to be (surface area in square Km's) -
Pond 1 = 10.4 Km2
Pond 2 = 15.3 Km2
Pond 3 = 15.5 Km2
However Ponds 1 and 2 had to be reconfigured and reduced as a result of the RRMMDA fiasco, along with the inclusion of Pond 0.
Both Pond 1 & 2 would have lost at least a third of there size as a result of the changes, so yes, Pond 3 in the 'Monster' and will take far more time to fill.
But apparently we are still on track for 5.35mt of salt pa..........
