I watched an episode of Mythbusters this evening where Adam took a flight in a U2 spyplane to 70 000 ft which was interesting, I didn't know they were still flying. To land the ungainly thing they need a chase car to guide the pilot and guess what they use given they have a choice of any muscle car they want in the good ole U S of A. They went for a Pontiac G8 which is a rebadged VE Commodore. Admittedly its got their 6 Litre Chevy and drivetrain underneath to give it a bit of poke but the rest of it is Australian designed, tested and made. The Chevy SS is selling well too, its the VF Commodore but that will be the end of the line because the next Commodore is going to be a front drive Opel.
