My point was that gold had what I call a sucker punch rally.
I think copper has done the same & so has oil.
I'm not saying gold is the same as its clearly not, however I think in the last week or so we have seen a pull back in positions, basically short covering & others picking a bottom.
Iron ore also did a similar thing a few weeks ago, traded from $65 to $72 & then went on to new lows around $62. Just my view but we are seeing the same here in oil.
Anyway, time will tell as they say.
