kimbo that's sounds like a GO statement re wind and solar cheap but there is a difference between to generate and to distribute and so you may need to add some details for your statement on what size, capacity, availability, in which countries and into what infrastructure.

I am interested to understand what costs are u using for coal in particular if u are talking about Chinese kit or are to referencing international kit to good standards re emissions and what fuel costs are we looking at.

if it was so cheap the Chinese would not have and continue to build out coal power stations. in a similar vain it tends to be very sunny in Asia but why are most new power stations coal burn these countries have no real cash so you would think they would go for the cheapest?

it's rather a throw away comment that is not really correct and needs rather a lot of caveats
