Alan obviously got out in front of himself. His over exuberance doesn't bother me too much, but his failure to update stockholders straightforwardly does. The general concensus has been that, when an announcement is finally made, the share price will skyrocket. However, given Alan's over-the-top build-up, I am increasingly concerned that anything less than a "game changer" announcement will have an equally-pronounced negative reaction.
