I thought the guy on Sky Business the other night summed GEM up rather well:
"Supply for childcare facilities is currently outstripping demand
growth.
With rollups you can initially aquire companies at very low
multiples but as the low hanging fruit starts to disappear you
begin to pay higher multiples for poorer quality facilities.
Also childcare is a highly regulated industry so not very scalable.
You need a certain number of staff and children so not that great a business."
