    However, after Trump's team said he did not have the money to pay by today's deadline, the appeals court cut the amount by more than half and extended the deadline for payment.

    He now has an extra 10 days to post the much smaller bond amount of $US175 million.

    The full penalty still stands if his appeal against the ruling fails – it's just the bond amount that's been slashed.

    ok so can he liquidate enough assets to meet this lenient gift of opportunity? or will he send his lawyers back in to attempt to get this bond waived?

    will his greed and belief in manipulation as the means to win against a weakened resolve cause him to push harder against such a generous concession?
