Even though the flow rates have improved , 240mscfd is still a pretty ordinary number. Of course , without any other details of the well published ( water rate , permeability , type of completion etc etc ) , it is probably still too early to make an assessment. I do remember someone questioning the low permeability a few years ago but unfortunately I can't find that info now.

The design of the new well is much improved so I think that is the one to watch. It's been used by the other CSG companies recently with great success.

The dry gas issue was discussed on here back in August using the Horseshoe Canyon in Canada as a reference. The great Holy had done a bit of homework on that one. We were talking about the Wyan E1 well in Pel 13 which had flowed 175mscfd with no water .
