From July 2007 through to now, MEL has been progressively upgrading their 2P resereves to March 2009 when they eventually got their first 1P. Interestingly, most of this was certified pre-pilot and the pilot has simply confirmed there existing knowledge of this.
Even more interestingly, is some of the comments in this annoucnements where they discuss production optimisation which is consistent with their new approach at corella.

This ann from Oct 08 provides a better overview on the kind of time frames we are talking about for succesful pilot development. Note the gas flow @ 200MSCF increased through to its current levels of 240MSCF.
