I am fairly new to trading options but have taken the time to understand various strategies from a book and a few articles. One of the approaches I like involves the use of fairly long term options that are out of the money, eg up to 1 or 1.5 years to expiry and say 5-15% out of the money. I note that even some of the largest companies on ASX have no bid or offer on options in this range, what gives here?
