A couple of you have guessed at what I'm trying to do using ETO's and you're both right in a way.
I have both an SMSF (15-20yrs to retirement) and a personal optionsxpress account.
For the SMSF I wish to hold aussie blue chips but increase returns by writing puts and covered calls. I have registered collateral and sold a few contracts so far, but like I say there's not as much of a market as I'd like. Maybe I can try putting up an offer as suggested.
For the US account I will take a slightly more aggressive approach and run a few calendar or bull call spreads. Have only done some virtual trading so far there so taking baby steps, will only risk 10% of the portfolio.
