the stock isnt worth 2 bucks! its losing accomodation revenue even though there is a massive secular shift to online bookings. its Asian business is an absolute disaster And it had been losing it steadily for 5years. Robbie massively underspent on marketing. now they are trying to lift spend to hold share but the damage has already been done. I have met with Expedia both in Aus and the US and they, along with priceline want to be number one in aus and will do it. WTF has also lifted commission rates and profit is still under pressure. I cant see what they can do, they already have just about every hotel and b&b in australia signed up....unless international airfares double and the dollar goes to 50cents this business will continue to struggle. its a trap. structurally impaired. not worth the risk.
