You may not have realised this but you have just answered one question with another question. Something my old English teacher told us never to do!
You say "I..think the price of gold is headed for $2,000 by December"
My question is "Why?" I'd like to know.
My opinion is that with a possible exception, the gold price will steadily head south. (But due to other overriding factors,not to an extent that it will affect NST's share price.) My reason for saying that is the Eurozone crisis has been well and truly factored in and whilst it shows no sign of going away, it will increasingly become yesterday's stale news.
The possible exception is the matter of whether Israel will mount a pre-emptive strike on Iran.If that happens then we will see a sharp rise in the gold price.
