    The actual act of writing a loan INCREASES the money in circulation [M2 or M3, I forget] by 90% of the loan [approx.] only 10% must be cash at hand. This is inflation.

    A credit squeeze, where it is hard to borrow, contracts M2 and leads to deflation.
