I am not gay and have no particular stand on the issue, {"live and let live" is my motto} but for the Pope to say that "saving humanity from homosexual or transexual behaviour is just as important as saving the rainforest from destruction" is little short of bizarre.
This is very interesting for the Pope to say this, in light of the fact that so many of the Catholic Church CEO's priests have engaged in homosexual practices both recently and down through the centuries.
There was at least one Pope in history who was well known to have a particular likeing for little boys.
