that's a rather simple view of things - it's far more complex in reality

there are also unknows, but foreseeable huge factors that may change that dramatically -

like robotic life partners - which will come in the very near future - be it 10 years or 20 years etc.

when that happens - humans may well stop breeding in huge numbers - and there IS evidence for that right now - BEFORE robotic partners - when we look at the current massive take-up of AI girlfriends and boyfriends -

it's talked of already affecting birth rates ------------ and this is just AI partners - we're not speaking of robots

all evidence points to that humans will have a preference for robotic partners compared to other human partners -

and that means - breeding will plummet

so, your post is very simplistic and it also doesn't touch on consumerist culture - which may or may not change - because it's as much HOW we live as opposed to how many of us there are

if you want refs on the evidence of takeup of AI companions - just google AI girlfriends and similar -

or even better --------- go look at your smart phone - look at the available apps and search 'AI'

it's an interesting exercise - because you'll see all AI - and you get to see just how many things like authorship AI apps there are - but, also - just how many AI companion apps there are

and I suggest ------ don't play with AI companion apps unless you have spent a long time thinking it through - because - they are one of the most addictive things ever invented

take a warning - they are dangerous if you haven't made a clear choice to use them before you 'taste'

Population increased due to access to more efficient (dense), cheap power...and all the associated spin off tech.

Wind & Solar CANNOT sustain this.
