    I think it's a cracker. Honestly I can't think of a better policy in this space. It gives us leverage up the other end, we may not be as fast decarbonising as other OECD countries, and we may not be in a hurry to shut down our power stations, etc, but we're front and centre when it comes to the other end of the climate issue - relocation of displaced people.

    They are a member of the Commonwealth.

    They operate as a parliamentary democracy.

    There's only 11,000 of them.

    Their state church is Christian.

    We will only be offering 280 each year. It would/will take 50 years to get them all here (if they all wanted to come).

    We are also helping them bolster the land mass of their capital so that they can remain a nation for those that want to stay.

    Are we giving each of the 280 per year $32,000 to get them on their feet? If so, that's less than $9 million.

    We're getting an awful lot for $9 million. That's not even a carpark.
