I was very indignant when I first heard this story but more careful listening on tonights news shed new light on things. It seems that an election is coming up shortly and in order to unseat the incumbent muslim mayor a 'christian' opponent has engineered this whole controversy in order to discredit the muslims out of office.
P.S. I am not a muslim, I am an anglo celt athiest who distrusts ALL politicians and religious leaders.
