How often to you year in an election campaign one side or the other committing funds towards an infrastructure project or some other project to sway voters in an area - happens each and every election.
There is a fundamental difference between the two:-
1. Doing it outside the established and accepted protocol = crime [fraudulent misappropriation]
2.Promising it before an election and nor delivering is also a crime [breach verbal contract]
3. Promising and not elected = ancient history
There is no semantics involved. We have Infrastructure Australia ans Sport Australia to rid the swamp of this slime ball approach to government funding
Federal ICAC is the only way to rid us of this toxic, rancid, rabid disease filled mob. The voters obviously can't.
