    Hi Sam,

I've been out of SVY in all but a small way for a while but still maintain a interest and follow goings on. A fractured clay zone such as this is what one would expect to see as Phyllic and argilic collapse above a porphyry if you follow the work of Jeff Hedenquist. He has some good videos on YouTube. it's what you would expect to see although as we have seen the area has multiple intrusions that are barren and any of them could account for the alteration. When I saw the chalcopyrite dominant crackle breccia I though that looks just like the upper parts of another porphyry I worked at (although overprinted now) and got excited but unfortunately you can't get this close to a porphyry without seeing the contact metamorphism, Mo veining and actinolite- epidote alteration. The low temp sphalerite veining is just telling me it's still some way away. IMHO it's there but it's expensive and difficult drilling. From a risk reward perspective it suits me better to wait until discovery and then jump in.

    All IMHO and DYOR,

    cheers
    CC
