Not sure what you mean by broker fees regarding the proposed consolidation ..?
I've been through a few of these and it all happens automatically. No fees, my share portfolio is automatically adjusted, simple.
Maybe I misunderstood your point, but if I did read it correctly then I think you may be mistaken re broker fees. Or you need a new broker!
