    December 2008 figures for Port Karumba appear as though they are loading Zinc again.

    July - December 2007 656,086t
    July - December 2008 462,213t

    2008 last 6 months down by 30% for the same period in 2007 due to Century downsizing. If the trend continues it should assist in POZ's red tape approval with the government not wanting to see job losses for the Port and associated businesses etc.
