A grant of as much as 42.5 New Zealand cents a liter will be available from July 1 on sales of domestically produced biodiesel that meets government standards, Energy Minister Gerry Brownlee said in a statement today. The payment matches an excise advantage locally made ethanol has over regular-grade gasoline.
