Fair comment. I acknowledge that I had not considered what Gupta currently has, I was more thinking of his plans for expansion, which could be significant, particularly if he has options for long term and stable supply of high grade iron ore from more than one supplier.
Australia has always sent so much of our resources overseas for processing. It would be great to see some of the value adding to be done on our shores and the shift to green steel is one way that can happen given we have the iron ore and the land area and sun/wind to make the power - why can't we be competitive on the world market for green steel.
