The ABC would be remiss if they didn't claim costs from Porter. It was obvious from the get-go that the ABC had no case to answer, given Porter's name was never mentioned. How Porter, an experienced legal man, ever thought he had a shot in hell of winning a case like this is truly beyond me. Clearly, it was a vexatious attempt to use his political might to twist the judicial system, which backfired - and he should be financially and politically punished as a result.
