Left out quite a few things there and made assumptions about others.
I agree there is doubt about whether an attack took place, and agree the mental health of the complainant was impaired. Which tends to happen after serious assault, btw.
To be clear the alleged rape victim, who was a respected Adelaide historian with a forensic eye for detail, wrote a detailed account of what she believed happened many years earlier, intended for the justice system to consider. The NSW Police took it seriously and attempted to interview her. Permission was given right up the line until a meeting with the guy who used to take out the trash for his mate Scott Morrison, NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller. The PM's mate testified to the NSW Parliament that he intervened to discuss the case involving the then Attorney General with his Deputy. The Deputy Commissioner then prevented NSW Police from taking her evidence.
The alleged victim was later found dead.
I don't believe the Coroner David Whittle has ruled on the causes and background to that death, so no it's not the end of the story. Would be happy to see your sources about how she died and how you know more than the Coroner.
