The simple answer is to do as much of it as you can yourself. Even something simple like a Mac cash account can often have the transactions directly downloaded into the Accountants software, saving time and costs.
It sometimes comes down to how much info you want and when, not to mention how much is in the fund. $4k might be cheap if you $3 mill!
