I am not sure if I speak for many, and statistically you might be right, however I found that investing in broad based ETF’s are counter intuitive to safety IMO. If you are going sector specific ETF’s for thematics that’s fine, however finding the right vehicle can be difficult, using many skills akin to researching and investing in individual companies.
