There are loads of GAS at Browse. You know it I know it, the main bit that should have been proved was not, does it flow is it commercial. "The Gas will probably flow" is not good enough, this statement is get out of jail statement.
It just does not make sense to abondon without proving. The rig was there, even if the tool got stuck, they should have still been able to prove that it flows. Surely there are more than one way to skin a cat.
It will be years before P-2, even if goes ahead.
I would be focusing on Kon-Tiki and S.A tenements. Not P-1, P-1 is a failure.
