I guess it's easy to be philosophical when my money isn't yet on the line, but I empathise to a degree with the difficulties associated with running a company such as TFL in the current environment; so much promise and all the macro trends lining up, but still having to keep one's feet on the ground for the daily grind.
Just out of interest I've compiled a chronology on the Brand Tas thread with some of the recently moving parts; mainland drought & dairy industry struggles, intergovernmental negotiations (FTA's), a growing and changing state economy, access to international markets (via HBA from 2020, apparently).
Add to the mix corporate action; the Woolnorth background, recent BAL bid (surprised to learn they process imported milk. Happy to be corrected on that), and again news to me that only 6% of Tasmanian milk is bottled...
I'll leave it to readers to join the dots as they see fit.
The BoD are suitably qualified, I believe, to leverage the prevailing trends to TFL's advantage. My non-holder sentiment would be benefit of the doubt. Tight lips may pay dividends.
