The Turnbull government ordered energy bosses to a meeting after an audit revealed more than a million households are still paying the highest rates for electricity.
"At our meeting earlier this month we reached significant agreements such as contacting all customers who are on expired discounts and telling them how much they can save on a better deal, but more can still be done," Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull told The Australian on Monday.
The meeting will be held in Sydney on Wednesday.
