Positive environmental stories from 2024 so far, page-2

here's the problem with the 'good news' -------

almost all of it is about how to make a cleaner planet or use less or create less emissions

yes, there is the news that while we have more extreme events - less people are dying - and that is good news and a different issue

but ----------- what is missing?????????

what is missing is what is the meaning of all of this climate change business IF we've passed a tipping point ?

and there - is the REAL problem. Almost all of that 'good news' will matter diddly squat if we're already over the edge and we get a MASSIVE climate change in the next?? say 50 years - and god help us - within say 20 years

none of it will matter - why? Because all the good news is about prevention - and not disaster management -------------- and all of it will be worthless if we have to relocate from most of those areas

which is HIGHLY LIKELY

where we need good news is from governments preparing for disaster - mainly from mass migration -------------- well planned and with will - it might not be a problem

but if we look to history - mass migration is a very dangerous animal - let alone and let loose - it will create total chaos

no solar panels in cemeteries will help there
