positive findings from csg tours

From ABC Rural interviews:-

2 fact finding tours by a Narrabi businessman, who wanted to determine the impacts on his business, toured Gladstone and Roma at the invitation of Santos; and a representative of Cotton Australia who visited Colorado gasfields.

The Narrabri businessman spoke with farmers and business owners. He was impressed by the economic development of Roma over the last 5 years. He described it as 'massive'.

He was surprised by the small footprint of a gas well, usually located along fence or tree lines.

Both individuals were positive about what they saw; they were impressed by the better technology employed by Australian companies, especially the reverse water osmosis and its beneficial usage.
