Yes, I want to buy one now- send us a post Melb Uni, once there's one I can buy from a shop.
OK article, personally I thought our resident Li analyst Niu gave an even better argument / presented case, a week prior.
Thought came to my mine the other day - temperature. All current Li batteries suffer end if life degradation when subjected to continued time periods of higher temps - 45°C +. A hr or so a day of playing a heavy game while charging over a few wks, 45-55°C, will, at a guess, do in your battery capacity down 10-20%, & more if you keep it up.
I wonder how the white coats and also marketers of the great Li Battery EV revolution hv in answer to that!? It gets VERY Hot in AUS Sun, esp when u R straining the battery in hot weather, heavy loads, or in the London EV Black Cab case, in a hotter country while CHARGING the battery in middle of driving with the 1.5L petrol engine. A degraded battery pack might drastically cut your range & life of battery.
Mmm... Someone more knowledged in this may hv some thoughts.
