Not much posted on this, so I thought I would change the "tenor" of the EXT board!
Positives:
*** Amenable to course grind size ... very important for capital & operational cost saving
*** Uranitite is the main mineral. What everyone expected, but excellent.
*** Also captured secondary uranium in the drilling. Excellent, as this increases the size of the deposit. Uranium leaches out over time from the primary deposits, and is ultimately diluted & lost. But in the case of EXT is still there, in the one hole it was 50% of the core .. so it looks quite mineable. Very similar to Rossing which had large quantities of secondary uranium in close proximity to the primary, which contributed to the large deposit.
*** Negligible refractory ore such as betafite ... Brilliant, so recoveries will be good.
Overall, confirms the quality of the deposit, and the potential low cost nature of production.
