Agreed. It's also probably worth noting that samples from both Zone 1 and Zone 2 were tested so it's likely that both will have relatively low production costs.

I didn't previously know anything about SAG milling before today. I imagined something much more sophisticated, but it seems to be little more than an industrial version of a tumble dryer with steel balls in it to crush the ore up.

To elaborate on what Tibbs and the report say, it seems that these SAG mills will break the ore up relatively easily (less time and electricity) and that the "groundings" won't require large amounts of expensive acid (because the ore composition means that the Uranium particles are easily accessible to the acid).

I'm not sure about Namibia, but I've read that SAG milling is also cost advantageous because the floorspace taken up is smaller than other processing techniques. This is important at least in North America because there are regulations requiring that the processing machines are enclosed. Bigger the building, bigger the cost. There's also health benefits supposedly because dust emissions are reduced, and costly safety precautions reduced.

Hopefully others can elaborate on my beginners understanding of Uranium milling, if necessary.

Anyway, as stated this is another hurdle cleared and sets the stage for a pretty positive announcement in August.
